Kian Olefin Plant

Kian Olefin project is awarded to OIEC Company in form of EPCC contract. Kian Petrochemical Complex (KPC) is aimed to be one of the largest petrochemical complexes (consisting of an Olefin plant) located at Pars Special Economic Energy Zone, Phase 2, Assaluyeh, Iran. KPC is planned to receive feedstock (2,506 KTA) (including Ethane, C5+ Condensate, Propane, Butane and C3+ Olefin Components) from South Pars Gas Refinery Complex and the other petrochemical companies located at South Pars Petrochemical Zone. Linde Engineering has performed Front-End Engineering Design “FEED” for the Plant based on the process design packages received from technology providers and LINDE’s Know How. This plant comprises the Olefin Unit, Butadiene Unit, Benzene Extraction Unit and HDA Unit and all associated process units, the required utilities & offsite units, common facilities and interconnections within the battery limit of the plant.
