CEO's Message

April of 2011 marks the 24th anniversary of OIEC's inception. The major objective of its establishment was to expedite our country's strive for independency and self sufficiency in the oil and gas sector.

When our first project which was the construction of Lube oil complex at Esfahan Refinery with all of its then difficulties was completed the Iranian oil industry felt a sign of relief and needless to say what a morale booster it was.

We have come a long way since. Last year we signed an EPCC contract to develop phases 20 & 21 of South Pars including construction of a gas refinery. The amount of this project was 4.5 billion US dollars. Having become the leading EPC contractor in the Iranian oil & gas arena and after having over 200 million man-hours of completed work and current project load of over 10 billion US dollars, now we are eager to expand our horizons to enter the international market focusing on Persian Gulf and Caspian Sea regions as our primary markets.

Our vision for future is to see OIEC as an active IOC (International Oil Company) who can provide our international clients efficiency, cost effectiveness and state of the art technology. Of course all of this can happen because of our most important asset – our dedicated employees.
