Oil and Energy Industries Development (OEID) was established in 1997 as a private joint stock company in Qeshm Island. OEID is a wholly owned subsidiary of OIEC.
The Company’s core area of expertise is in upstream projects, including:

OEID utilizes the world’s latest technologies for the development of oil and gas fields. - Development of Cheshmeh-Khosh oil field (construction of Cheshmeh-Khosh desalination unit)

- Construction of Gachsaran desalination unit
- Salty crude oil transmission from Gachsaran No.1 Production Unit to Gachsaran No.2 desaltination unit
- Study for storage of natural gas in underground reservoirs
